Underground palaces

Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, was the first city in Central Asia to open a metro, back in Soviet times. The subway stations were very lavishly designed, similar to those in Moscow. One of the most beautiful stations is the Paxtakor stop in the heart of the city.
