A mother carries his child, standing among dozens of pigeons in front of the Sheikh Muslihiddin mausoleum in Khujand. This religious complex was named after Muslihiddin Khujandi, a poet and ruler of the town, who lived in the 12th century. The mausoleum now sits in the main square of the city opposite to the Panjshanbe Bazaar.
