The facade of the Hotel Uzbekistan appears to be covered in gold under the sunset light. Hotel Uzbekistan is one of the most iconic landmarks of Tashkent and a perfect example of Soviet brutalism. Anyone can go up to the last floor and enjoy the view over the downtown skyscrapers, while sipping a cold drink at the bar.
