Ominous clouds rise over the empty canyon during a late afternoon hike. In the Almaty region, close to the famous Charyn canyon, a few other canyons are completely unknown to tourists. Even locals barely adventure themself there. Kurtogay is one of them. There is no path but eventually you’ll end up in an amazing canyon all to yourself.
