Looking Outwards
Probably known to most only as a rail stop between the Ferghana Valley and Tashkent, the town of Angren finds itself in a snow-covered winter wonderland at this time of year. Angren was founded during the Uzbek SSR as an industrial settlement for coal mining and was intended as a showcase city.
