In visible proximity, this young resident of Sary-Mogol ventures his first steps outside the protective warmth of home. The village sits close to the border with Tajikistan at an elevation of almost 3000m. Therefore, it’s not uncommon that temperatures drop below zero even in the middle of summer. (Sary-Mogol, Kyrgyzstan)
