‘In the semi-abandoned sanatorium of Jeti Ögüz, I wandered among ruined Soviet structures, slowly being reclaimed by nature. The place seemed forgotten until I came across a small teahouse with its door ajar. Inside, a mother was quietly eating with her three children. The room was bathed in soft light filtering through old curtains. Despite the decrepit state of the place, the quiet joy and comfort of the family seemed timeless. This image captures the serene joy of sharing a meal, framed by the enduring love and resilience of the family.’
