A sculpture in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, near the White House celebrates the 100th anniversary of friendship between the USSR and Kyrgyzstan, called the Stella of Friendship. It was made in 1974 and represents Kyrgyz and Russian citizens tied together by a strong bond.
