To the south of Lake Issyk-Kul lies a fairytale valley: Skazka or Fairytale canyon. This enchanting place has certainly stimulated the imagination of mystics and dreamers. In these varied and astonishing shapes created in the red sandstone by erosion, legend sees the petrified bodies of several dragons. This photograph was therefore taken in the bowels of a dragon.
