Only the outlines of the madrasas and the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kalyan_Minaret\"> Kalyan Minaret<\/a><\/strong> rising above the rooftops function as a quiet reminder of one&#8217;s location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, these backstreets have remained largely untouched by Uzbekistan&#8217;s tourism boom.
