This mosaic, designed by Sadukov &amp; Lukovtsev in 1971, celebrates Tajik labor and culture. Artists, musicians and cinematographers are featured, as well as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swissinfo.ch\/eng\/business\/swiss-ngos_cotton-tajikistan-s-pride-and-shame\/41680322\">the cotton plant, which was the basis of the Soviet Tajik economy.<\/a><\/strong> This mosaic has a companion on the building next door, which depicts the heritage passed down through three generations of a Soviet Tajik family.
