‘At an impressive altitude of 4,020 meters, these kids are playing ‘kids-buzkashi’ in the remote village of Karakul, situated along the legendary Pamir Highway. This high-altitude community is inhabited predominantly by ethnic Kyrgyz people. This special game was part of the “Roof of the World Regatta”, an event I had the honor of helping to organize and accompany during my time with Pamirs Eco-Cultural Tourism Association – PECTA back in 2016, an experience that left a lasting impression.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
