Built in 1686-1688 and remodelled at the very beginning of the 19th century, it now has a smooth face thanks to very recent restoration work. Konya Ark is one of the outstanding monuments of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Khiva\">Itchan Kala<\/a><\/strong>, the old town of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Khiva\">Khiva<\/a><\/strong>.
