A boy rides his bicycle past the mosaic facade of a multi-family home on Abuali Ibn Sino Avenue in Dushanbe. This mosaic, designed by Sadukov & Lukovtsev in 1971, celebrates Tajik labor and culture. Artists, musicians and cinematographers are featured, as well as the cotton plant, which was the basis of the Soviet Tajik economy. This mosaic has a companion on the building next door, which depicts the heritage passed down through three generations of a Soviet Tajik family. (Dushanbe, Tajikistan, June 2023)
