Das Thema dieses Mal: Rap aus Bischkek: Eine Geschichte in zehn Tracks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rap-Musik, seit einiger Zeit eine der dominierenden Musikrichtungen weltweit, hat auch in der kirgisischen Hauptstadt Bischkek eine lange Geschichte. Bereits in der zweiten Hälfte der 1980er Jahre hatte Rap – und die damit verbundene Hip-Hop-Kultur – dort ihre ersten Fans, und im Laufe der Jahre hat die Stadt einige lokale und internationale Rap-Stars hervorgebracht.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Florian Coppenrath<\/a> ist Mitbegründer von Novastan.org<\/a> und schreibt eine Dissertation über die Produktion von Hip-Hop-Musik in Bischkek. Beim nächsten Stammtisch wird er anhand ausgewählter Tracks einen Einblick in die Entwicklung des Raps in Bischkek geben – von den Anfängen über die „goldenen“ Nullerjahre bis hin zum Streaming-Zeitalter.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topic this time: Rap from Bishkek: A Story in Ten Tracks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rap music, one of the dominant music genres worldwide for some time now, also has a long history in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek. As early as the second half of the 1980s, rap—and the associated hip-hop culture—found its first fans there, and over the years, the city has produced several local and international rap stars.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Florian Coppenrath<\/a>, co-founder of Novastan.org<\/a>, is writing a dissertation on the production of hip-hop music in Bishkek. At the next meet-up, he will provide insight into the development of rap in Bishkek through selected tracks—from its beginnings, through the „golden“ 2000s, to the streaming era.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
